Habit Pet · in effect 13 October 2026
The short version
Habit Pet stores the habits you create and the days you complete them, so that your streaks and your pet are still there next time you open it. That is all it is for.
There is no advertising, no analytics and no tracking in this app. Nothing about you is sold, rented or shared with anyone for marketing, and nothing you do here is used to build a profile of you.
What is stored, and why
Your email address
It is how you sign in, and how a password reset reaches you.
Your password is never visible to this app. It is handled by our authentication provider and stored only as a cryptographic hash, which cannot be turned back into your password.
The habits you create
So they are there tomorrow, on whatever device you open.
Whatever you type as the name of a habit is stored as you wrote it. If you would rather a habit were not described in plain words, name it something only you understand.
Which days you completed them
It is what streaks, history and your pet's growth are calculated from.
A record of the habit and the date. Nothing about where you were or what device you used.
Your pet and your progress
Coins, XP, level, happiness, and the pets and outfits you have unlocked.
This is shared with VerseQuest. See “One account, two apps” below.
What is never collected
- Your location
- Your contacts, photos, calendar or files
- Any advertising identifier. There is no advertising in this app.
- Any analytics or behavioral tracking. There is none.
- Any payment or card details. Nothing is for sale.
One account, two apps
Habit Pet and VerseQuest, a Bible memorization app, share one account and one pet. If you use both, the same email and password sign you in to either. Your pet, with its level, coins, happiness and everything you have unlocked, is the same creature growing from both.
Your habits stay in Habit Pet and your saved verses stay in VerseQuest. Neither app can read the other's. But because the pet is shared, progress you make in one is visible in the other, and deleting your account removes both.
Who else your data reaches
These are the only services involved, and this is exactly what each one receives.
Supabase
Stores your account and everything listed above.
Your email address and all of the data in the table above.
Vercel
Serves the app.
The ordinary technical information any web server receives, such as your IP address and browser type, kept in short-lived operational logs. Your habits are not sent here.
Resend
Sends account emails, such as password resets.
Your email address, and only when one of those emails is sent.
Your choices
You can delete your data yourself, at any time, under Settings. There are two choices: remove just your Habit Pet data and keep the pet you share with VerseQuest, or delete the whole account. Deleting the account is immediate, permanent, and covers both apps: your habits, your saved verses and your pet.
You can also ask for a copy of everything stored about you, or ask for deletion by mail instead. Write to pillowcrate@gmail.com from the address you signed up with and it will be done within 30 days.
Children
Habit Pet is not directed at children under 13, and accounts are not knowingly created for them. If you believe a child has created an account, write to pillowcrate@gmail.com and it will be removed.
Keeping it safe, and changes
Your data is held in an encrypted database with rules that allow each account to read and write only its own rows. Traffic between the app and the server is encrypted in transit.
If this policy changes in substance, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be announced in the app rather than quietly published.
